1. Delete it yourself, in the app
The fastest way — no e-mail, no waiting:
- Open the Meme Picker app
- Go to Settings (the last tab)
- Tap Delete Account on your profile card
- Confirm
Your account is removed immediately.
2. Or ask us to do it
E-mail [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
Erased from our servers, permanently and immediately:
- Your account record — name, e-mail address and profile picture
- Your saved favorites
- The link between your account and your Google or Apple sign-in
If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Meme Picker’s access to your Apple ID, so the app stops appearing under Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Sign in with Apple on your device.
4. What stays, and for how long
- On your device: preferences and cached images are local to your phone. Deleting the app removes them.
- Diagnostic logs: anonymised error records are kept for a short period and then discarded automatically.
- Legal records: where the law requires us to retain something, we keep only what it requires and nothing more.
5. This cannot be undone
There is no recovery window and no archive to restore from. Signing in again afterwards creates a brand-new, empty account.
You can keep using Meme Picker without an account — browsing, searching, creating and sharing memes all work signed out. You only lose favorites syncing across devices.
